This mat is just what I needed for my recumbent bike. It looks great, doesn't slip, and seems like it will last a long time. I didn't notice much of a chemical smell, at least not with the one I received. Plus, it flattens out nicely and I'm really pleased with it.

It appears to be well-made and has a pleasing appearance, but I haven't been able to use it yet because the strong chemical odor it emits is quite overwhelming. I'm hoping that the smell will fade over the next week or two so I can start using it.

This mat works really well under my bike and trainer.

It arrived just as described, and it's currently nicely placed beneath my workout equipment. Just a heads up, though – this mat takes quite a while to get rid of that new product smell. In the first couple of weeks, even with the room being well-ventilated at 20x20', there was a noticeable chemical odor coming from the mat. Even after two months, there's still a faint smell in the room whenever I walk in.

I bought this mat for my Peloton bike, even though the area I have it in is carpeted. It performs well on the low-pile carpet I have, and it'll help protect my carpet from wear and tear. It's a fantastic deal, and I strongly recommend it. It does take some time for the curl at the end to flatten out, but it eventually does.

The thickness is just right, providing durability without unnecessary weight. It was slightly stiff when I first got it, so I had to lay it out flat with some weights on the corners for a day to straighten it out (it was rolled up when I received it). I placed it under my exercise bike, and it's a suitable size for that purpose. However, it might be too small to fit comfortably under a treadmill in terms of width and length, so be sure to measure your equipment before purchasing.

This worked perfectly for placing under my heavy-duty home recumbent bike. I even trimmed it to make it shorter, and I highly recommend it.

About the first one : I have more than a few mats of various sizes and brands (both for exercise equipments and to create for my dog some traction on hardwood floors), and I've never had anything smelling like this. I got a terrible headache from it on opening it, but hopefully it's won't last like that. If it doesn't go away within a few days time, I will have to return it. Update : I had the headache for full 2 days, and of course I could not keep it. I was offered a replacement and I was not too hopeful. But pleasantly, the replacement did not have the strong smell. I did not want to take chance though, so I wore mask as I was opening it and really tried not to smell any of it. I laid it in the guest room and asked my wife to check if it is okay. I heard that it does not smell like the first one.So I guess the smell depends on what you get. It could be a quality control issue then. I will still air it out for a few days before I attempt to use it under the exercise equipment.

I've been using this bike trainer pad for more than 8 months, and it works great if you're looking for a good pad to use with your bike trainer.

It works well

I would not recommend getting this mat for use with an elliptical. It tears easily. After using my elliptical for only a couple of months I noticed there is a hole in it already. Very disappointed.

It fit perfectly beneath our ProForm elliptical machine. It's thick and sturdy, providing excellent stability.

We haven't owned the mat for very long, but up to this point, it's been working really well for us. It doesn't slide around on our hardwood floor, and it seems sturdy enough. We use it under our stationary bike.

This bike mat is pretty much identical to the pricey Peloton version they wanted me to buy.

My mat didn't include a towel. The mat works great under my bike, but it tends to pick up imprints from things like sneakers and the bike itself, even with brief contact. These imprints do fade, but I'm uncertain if they'll completely disappear over time. This could potentially reduce the cushioning effect if you're trying to prevent permanent indentations on your carpet.

I recently bought a Peloton bike and wanted to protect my hardwood floors from getting scratched. I noticed that the official Peloton-branded mat costs around $150. However, I found this alternative product that costs much less and performs just as well. The mat is compact, similar in size to a yoga mat, and it does a fantastic job serving its purpose. It's exactly what I was looking for.

This mat is fantastic! I use it under my Wahoo Kicker for cycling workouts. When I walk on it wearing cycling shoes with cleats, the cleats leave deep marks on the mat. It almost feels like the cleats are puncturing it, but the mat always bounces back, and there are no signs of those cleat marks as if I've never stepped on it. On a side note, after buying this mat, I casually checked Powr Labs' website to see if I had won any gifts, and to my surprise, I did win a Powr Labs heart rate monitor. It arrived just two days later, and it works perfectly. It couldn't have come at a better time since my previous heart rate monitor was causing me a lot of issues. Thanks, Powr Labs!

I've also placed interlocking foam squares underneath the mat to provide a solid base for my bike, and it's been working great.

I needed a new low price mat to replace my Kinetic bike trainer mat. This mat has the length, but the width is narrow and the chemical smell for a few days was bad. I use a TACX Neo 2T and this mat is not wide enough for the trainer. That towel they give you, it’s a joke.

I use this mat for my bicycle rollers, but it can also be used with a turbo trainer or as an exercise mat. However, it's important to place it on a solid surface like concrete or wood when using it with rollers. Using it on a soft carpeted surface won't work well because the rollers' feet will sink into the spongy mat and then further into the carpet, causing the rollers to rub against the mat. Overall, the mat is a good size and weight, and it appears durable enough for long-term use.

The surface of the mat feels somewhat plastic-like, and I'd say the smell is similar to a strong new car scent. Also, if you're expecting great value from the free microfiber "towel," be aware that it's actually a very thin cloth. To be honest, I initially thought it was missing, but it fell out when I unrolled the mat to air it out. It'll work, but it didn't really impress me.

Put under stationary bike

Used it 5 times and basically ripped up right away.

I appreciate that this mat features closed-cell foam, making it easy to clean and wipe off. However, in my situation, the mat is just barely wide enough to accommodate my trainer's legs. It would have been ideal if it were 2-3 inches wider. So, I recommend measuring your trainer to ensure it fits properly.
